Do you think you have what it takes to join the world’s fittest athletes? If you do then it’s time to submit your name for the next CrossFit Games Tournament: the tournament takes place around August in Madison, Wisconsin at the Alliant Energy Centre.
And although the dates for the main event are yet to be released the venue will remain the same for the next three years (until 2021) after the CrossFit HQ signed yet another three-year extension with them.

Joining Made Simple

To join the CrossFit Games, you need to register for the CrossFit Open and participate in the workout tasks that will be given. Once you have done your tasks to your best, you need to submit the score before the deadline or the cutoff date.
This has since been made simpler. Thanks to the 2011 online qualification program that CrossFit Games incorporated. All you need to do is do the workout, capture the score using a video, and post online.
You can also call on a CrossFit Games Affiliate to validate your score before you can present the score for the pre-qualification process.

When Does the Registration Open?

For the 2019 CrossFit Open, the registration process kicks off on 10th of January 2019. The first workout schedule for the Open is released on Thursday, 21st February at exactly 5 p.m. (PST) with the cutoff date being Wednesday, on the 27th of February at 5 p.m. (PST).
The other workout announcement dates and their score validation cutoff dates are also as follows.

Sanctioned Events

In addition to the CrossFit Open, winners of the sanctioned events normally receive invitations to participate in the Games. The sanctioned events are a series of events that have been certified by the CrossFit organizers. For this year’s event, there will be a total of 16 sanctioned events going down around the globe.
